Zephlyn — Vela Intelligence
The Zephlyn website does not collect personal data directly. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log IP addresses per GitHub's privacy policy. We may use Cloudflare or similar CDN/proxy services that can capture IP addresses and may set cookies on your device. We do not control these cookies.
Zephlyn runs entirely on your machine. All code analysis — parsing, indexing, symbol extraction — happens locally. The knowledge database (SQLite) is stored in your project directory and is never transmitted to Vela Intelligence or any third party.
Zephlyn communicates exclusively over stdio with the connected MCP client. It does not bind to any network port and cannot be reached from outside your machine.
On startup, Zephlyn makes a single HTTPS request to check for version updates. This request may expose your IP address to the hosting provider. No personal data, project data, or telemetry is transmitted. If the request fails, the software continues normally.
When you connect an AI client (such as Claude, Cursor, or Gemini) to Zephlyn via MCP, the data shared with that client is governed by that client's own privacy policy. Zephlyn has no visibility into or control over how connected AI clients process your data.
